Her successful 15 year career in arts management began as a Development Officer with the Mint Museums of Art in Charlotte, NC.

In addition to her leadership at the SPO, she has been the part-time Art Gallery Director at Converse College for over 11 years.

Kathryn resides in Spartanburg with her husband Jeff, an Assistant Principal at Spartanburg High School, and their 4 children. Kay first joined the Greater Spartanburg Philharmonic (now the SPO) in 1997 as a member of the double bass section, and he performed regularly with the orchestra for 6 years.
